Arrangements Complete for Work on the Grade to Begin

Surveyors led by I G Trindle and James Calvert from Beaver have begun surveying Beaver to a connection with the North Line Railway. Three preliminary routes explored. a low grade of under one percent appears feasible. Contractor Whowpaon of Balko will oversee construction with a large crew, as locals rally for the railroad and stock subscriptions rise. Community support grows with farmers and townspeople joining in to push the project forward. Provision is made to feed and board workers, enabling more to invest in rail stock.
