Obituary for Mrs Mary Eccleston Thrapy of Beaver County
Mrs Mary Eccleston Thrapy, born December 20, 1828 in Lovisians, married first to John Eccleston in 1844. After his Civil War death in Missouri, she moved to Town, remarried Charley Thrapp in 1869, bore one child, and became mother to eight girls, five living and three dead. She had forty three grandchildren and fifty four great grandchildren, joined the United Brethren Church, moved to Beaver County with a daughter two months ago, and died at age 84. Funeral by Rev A J Haver, at Porgan cemetery.

Pioneer Gene Wesley Hibbs of Beaver County Dies
Wesley Hibbs of Kimenod and Clear Creek neighbor for over twenty years passed away Friday February 1 after weeks of illness from pneumonia. Funeral services were held by Rev. R. R. Goffey and interment at Beaver Cemetery. Affectionately known as Uncle Wesley, he was a respected Beaver County pioneer, famed for charity, integrity, and Christian life. The Hemanie joins friends in extending sympathy to the family.
