Beaver Oklahoma, February 7 1919 A public meeting will be held February 18 in the Court Room Beaver with speakers including Jan A Wilson John E Swaim C W Radway D T Meek John Field and Miss Dorothy Sexauer The aim is to pull together farmers ranchers and community leaders to improve agriculture livestock business and social conditions across Beaver County with nationwide similar meetings urged and county agent J F Newsom endorsing attendance

A large number of Beaver K of P lodge members traveled to Laverne on Thursday to join a neighboring lodge for initiatory and matting work. The Beaver lodge, a prominent group in the northwest, often assists in such rites for other lodges nearby.
A young son of Mr and Mrs J F Beatty sustained a fracture of the shoulder blade while at play at school Thursday. He was thrown to the ground and struck the shoulder, causing a painful injury. He is unable to attend school but is getting along nicely.
