Beech Bites Ferris. Legal Bite Becomes County Issue
A man named Beech chewed on Ferris's finger after a dispute over wages and a money claim. Ferris protested a “square meal” taken from his finger. The county attorney rejected a charge of using a mouth as a deadly weapon and suggested possible action under pure food law or contempt of the corporation commission.
