George Babb of Ruswa county joined out-of-town callers in the county seat last week. He paid the office and spoke of old papers dating back many years, promising to bring a sample when he next visits Beas ver, promising reading that would interest readers.

John Henry Collins, convicted in 1800 for his father’s murder in Topeka, was pardoned by Governor Hoch after ten years since sentencing, restoring his freedom from Lansing prison.
The home of Walter Murray in Boyd was shaken when his wife was struck by sudden insanity. She became violent, was sent to a Winfield hospital, then advised to Beaver for asylum, and was adjudged insane after examination by the Insanity Board. She is mother to two children, the younger only fifteen months old. Sheriff Miller accompanied her and his wife to Supply.
