Beaver Schools Open September 1 1919
Beaver schools prepare to open on September 1 with a full faculty led by Superintendent John E Awalin. High School Principal Mise Lens Wright and other principals join an accredited system offering four years of high school, 45 minute classes, a nine month term, and transfer credits to state universities. The eighth grade will be strong with 18 minute recitations, and Beaver highlights equipment including a physical laboratory, manual training, a well stocked library, maps, globes, and kindergarten supplies.
