Local residents report hoping for rain to aid crops. L Fowler and wife visited Mr Dye’s home area over the weekend from Logan. Ann Kile and family visited Greer residence in Booker. The Beaver County Institute will be held at the Grade building in Beaver for the week of August 15 to 19. Superintendent C. S. Gilbert of Edgar Nebraska and W Homer Hill of Fairview Public Schools will lead sessions with other instructors. Special features and professional discussions will guide teachers to improve their practice. Otto Barby his wife and Gus Heitman nephew of Barby shopped in Beaver Saturday. Mrs Neta Hagan visiting.
