Beaver Trains Its Own Rail Line From Forgan to Beaver

Beaver Oklahoma moves to build a local railroad after a 25 year state standstill. Citizens form the Beaver Meade and Englewood railroad, securing stock from Judge R. H. Loviburrow and other leaders. Grade work done, steel to be laid, with optioned purchase talks and plans to open a new trade route connecting Beaver to Forgan and beyond.

Beaver County voters hear Clyde Green, Beaver Graded School principal, announce his Republican bid for County Superintendent of Public Instruction. Green, a longtime educator, backs Free Text Bank, state aid for districts with short terms, eight month terms, stricter compulsory schooling, and higher standards.
