Beaver county social notices and business visits fill this week. Residents from Balko Gate Forgan and La Kemp include Moon Foster Edwards Dickson and Degnen. Sheriff Jones and Tom Laughlin appear in local events as families discuss health money and town life.
Beaver Oklahoma moves to build a local railroad after a 25 year state standstill. Citizens form the Beaver Meade and Englewood railroad, securing stock from Judge R. H. Loviburrow and other leaders. Grade work done, steel to be laid, with optioned purchase talks and plans to open a new trade route connecting Beaver to Forgan and beyond.
Beaver City was surveyed in its Iss section and touted as a potential growth hub. The report notes the oldest Presbyterian church in the state, about $12 in vested resources, a handsome courthouse, substantial buildings, and ongoing improvements, signaling ripe opportunities for development in the Oklahoma entry.
The Civil Service Commission announces a rural carrier examination in Forgan Oklahoma on April 3. Open to male U.S. citizens age 18 to 45, with domicile in the county, offering pay from 900 to 2100 dollars annually. Eligible registers for rural letter carrier posts will be maintained, with potential for transfer after one year of service.

The Douglas Avenue beautification effort gains momentum with Tom Henaty planting trees along the east curb and W H Thomas, Bank of Beaver City, and Elbert Olife assisting by placing trees on their lots. Residents Dr L Le Loog BE 1, Fickel, Harry Peckham, O B Pruett, and editor also plant trees, urging others to join. Citizens are urged to clean up winter litter and plant durable, lasting greenery across the district.
