Tax Relief Now urged to Ease Australian Burden
The piece argues that Australia faces crushing postwar taxes with £808 million in revenue and high rates per head. It condemns Labor’s stance on a 40-hour week and outlines Liberal plans for a three-year tax cut, income tax reviews for primary producers, sales tax reductions, greater family tax relief, and estate duty review. It warns that without reform production will fall and inflation rise.
