The North Eastern fire at East Sage Innward, Gratiot County, sat in session this week with strong attendance. F 4 Graney prepares the ground for a new house replacing the one lost to fire.

Alma sings of deaths and doings in a village week

The Alma Record notes a varied week with travels by J. Longfelder in Huron county and Hon. J. W. Robinson visiting, steeple work on the Presbyterian church, and local mentions including Frank Vollasky’s move to Chicago, Miss Francis Baker speaking, and a large funeral for Fred Adams aged 35 with a large attendance and remarks by Rev.
