Fatal Burn Accident Near Bethany Tolling Tragedy
The St Louis Independent reports the fatal burn of Mrs. Cornell of Bethany township after a gasoline stove explosion at their home four and a half miles east of the city. She attempted to extinguish the fire by leaping toward a water tank but perished about noon Tuesday. She leaves a husband and a six year old son, and was a daughter of D C Rounds. Funeral services were to be held in Ovid.
