Entertained New Teachers By Old Staff In Progressive Dinner

Pioneering Gratiot settler Mrs Mallory dies at 90
Mrs John B Mallory longtime Gratiot county resident died at her Seville township home on Tuesday September 23 after a four month illness. Born Corinna Wright in 1820s Oswego and Chautauqua counties she married John B Mallory in 1849 and moved to Gratiot in 1858. The couple raised eleven children. funeral held at home with Rev J Frank Jackson and burial in Brady cemetery.

Alma College Committee Considers Pianos and Repairs
