The regular course offers are attracting many town students. an interest time is anticipated.
The funeral for Chas Elwell, death noted last week, drew many friends. Charles Taylor was born September 11, 1817 in Phelps New York, lived in Sodus Shelby Plymouth and finally Wayne County Michigan before settling at Portland Ionia. He left a wife four sons and a daughter and died after a long illness with cancer in January. He died in faith, with many county friends remembering his kindness.
Late wheat sowing shows poor prospects amid frequent rain. Moody family and others return from Olio visit. Boston excursionists plan noon arrival at Builuly, with rain delaying sightseers. Clinton county Disciples meeting volunteers well received. Five from Ridge v lonly attend with Wise party. Elder Groves of Tonia, Elder Sins of Owoseo, and Pastor R. R. Cook contributed to the meeting.
