Frank B. Clow was fined twenty five dollars or thirty days in jail after being convicted by Justice Chadwick for peddling in Alan without the required license. He admitted soliciting orders and selling goods, and posted bail to appeal at the next term to challenge the ordinance.

Mrs. A. B. Darragh Dies After Prolonged Illness in St Louis

Boy Hurt In Road accident Near Emerson
Ten year old Loulie Aumangher, son of Mr and Mrs William Aumangher of Emerson, was run over by a buggy last Saturday night. His leg near the ankle was broken and he suffered other bruises. He had just recovered from typhoid fever and was weak, making his injuries more serious. Doctor Monfort attended and set the fracture.
