W H Risch died Monday night after a severe bout with typhoid fever. Born June 1879 in Salem township Ohio, he moved to Alma two years ago and ran a furniture stock business before moving to Saskatchewan last June. He leaves wife and two young children, with services at home and burial in Williamston Michigan.

Mary Bahlke Dies After Long Illness in Alma Home
Mrs Mary Bahlke aged 85 died after a prolonged illness at her son W A Bahike s home in Alma. Born in Germany August 8 1827 she emigrated to America in 1854 and lived on farms near Lyons Pewamo and Alma. She joined the Presbyterian church later in life and was described as a devout Christian and devoted mother. Funeral services were held at her son s home conducted by Dr A F Briske and interment followed in Riverside Cemetery.
