Mrs Mertie Francisco and family arrived in San Francisco via Salt Lake City and Sacramento. About twenty four neighbors celebrated William Thompson’s twenty ninth birthday. Mrs Anderson aged sixty four died at home, funeral by Dr Bruske. Gertrude Benedict hosted a pleasant evening at Downey street. Mrs Gordis Smith recovering from a broken hip, age 62. W D Smith family left for Davenport for chiropractic study, joined by Vida Greig.

Last week Burt Sharrar and Moore sold the George Ensley farm in Seville Township to Charles A. Catron of Sadorus Champaign County Illinois. The 160 acre tract lies 24 miles north of Elwell with well regally placed buildings. Price was $110 per acre. Mr Catron to take over this substantial holding while Mr Ensley plans a Florida winter.
