Alma defeated Bay City 9 0 in a hard fought Central Michigan championship game at Davie Field. Strong running and superior line play, highlighted by a potent wing shift, carried Alma as Bay City managed little offense. Next week Alma travels to Orchard Lake for another title bid in western Michigan.

The seventh district WR OC met in Alma to hear Edith Kennedy of Portland report on the Washington National convention. Officers elected include Arville Bagley of Ovid as district president and Ananda Starkweather of Elsie as delegate to the next national convention.
