Synod at Alma College records grand Presbyterian gathering
The sixth annual meeting of the Michigan Synod convened at Alma College with a large audience. Reports on church education temperance and missions were delivered by ministers from Detroit Saginaw Grand Rapids and Philadelphia. The corner stone of the gymnasium was laid, and Rev J M Barkley was elected moderator for the ensuing year.
