War trophies on display in Alma on October 16
A large war exhibit arrives in Alma for two hours on Wednesday October 16 from 1 15 to 3 15 pm featuring three flat cars of captured cannon German airplanes and trophies plus a box car of smaller articles a sleeping car with a lecturer and an escort of soldiers and sailors The display includes a Fokker plane an anti aircraft gun and other WW I trophies Along with the weapons are front line items such as machine guns mortars and wires The exhibit aims to show how Liberty bonds are helping the war effort and is expected to attract many county residents.

Alma college to add rifle range and bayonet course
