Alma Wins By a Score of Six to Five on College Campus
Alma College held off a heavier opponent with a 6 to 5 victory in two twenty minute halves last Saturday on campus. Death of Chas Deener Near Riverdale
Chas Deener died at his home west of Riverdale last week at age 7H. Funeral services were held Friday at ten in Vestabarg Church conducted by a German Lutheran minister from Sag inaw. He settled in the area in 185 and left a large estate including a farm of 300 acres. He was known across Gratiot and Montcalm counties. He leaves a wife four children and other relatives.
