Change Game Law Petition Aimed At Michigan Fish and Game Policy
Senator elect Francis King and L A Sharp are pressed to back changes urged by the Michigan Association to conserve wildlife. A non salaried five to seven member State Commission would replace the current system with a license tax of 1 dollar for residents and 10 dollars for non residents for small game and game birds and a 1 dollar resident 25 dollar non resident fee for deer and bears. The plan also seeks game refuges and powers to propagate or purchase wildlife, stop spring shooting, and place land management in Lansing backed by a petition to Lansing officials.

Modern Woodmen injunction blocks new rate plan
An Associated Press dispatch from Springfield Illinois says Judge Robert Shirley granted a perpetual injunction to restrain the Modern Woodmen head camp from enforcing new rates adopted in Chicago in January 1912 and from declaring delinquency on members who refuse the rates. The ruling is statewide unless the Illinois Supreme Court overrules it. Also noted are a runaway accident injuring Lyman Cahoon and Lester A. Moody seeking hospital treatment for hernia.
