Red Cross chapter elects officers at Ithaca meeting

The ratiot county Red Drain chapter held its annual meeting at the Ithaca court house. F L Convis was re elected as chair man with A Hahthe as vice chairman and Francis King as treasurer. Directors were chosen for two and three year terms. an executive committee was named and officers for the coming year were elected. Alma high school lost to Mt Pleasant 7 0 in muddy conditions. Alma college led a United War Work drive with over 1000 dollars raised, surpassing Albion. George H S Carl was in Elwell on business.
