Lowell has resigned as general superintendent of the Chicago Indianapolis and Louisville to become general manager of the Detroit Toledo and Ironton and the Ann Arbor with headquarters in Toledo Ohio. Lowell, born March 10 1858 in Dover New Hampshire, began rail career in 1876 with multiple lines and roles before rising to superintendent and then general superintendent in 1892.
