Unconscious Treasure Munson Sufferings Deepens

Lay unconscious for 24 hours as diabetes worsens. Mr Munson and wife attended a reception Monday night, he grew ill with severe headache and vomiting, remained unconscious until late Tuesday night. Doctors say the case is grave. Mr Read appointed deputy to the Treasury office amid concerns over recovery.

Montigel Buys J. W. Holmes Agricultural Warehouses

Monday of this week JM Montigel secured possession of the J W Holmes agricultural implements warehouses land and business in Gratiot County. For 47 years Montigel has supplied farm implements to local farmers building a large clientele and now adds Holmes stock and location to expand his enterprise. Holmes retires from active trade but leaves a reputation for honest dealing in Alma and vicinity.

Tragic Train Crash Near St Doline Stockyards

A drunken driving incident near the Grand Trrock four miles east of Bydo hue resulted in a fatal crash. Kwari Walker, the wounded passenger, and others were involved as the train collided with a wagon. The Grove track was damaged, the rear of the train derailed, and Walter was killed after being struck by the train crew. SE Gillam, surgeon, treated survivors at the scene.

The man suffered unknown injuries and was bedbound, leaving for a Bannister home. Dr Gillams investigated for the railroad, found Walker largely okay aside from slight bruises. He recalled little about the Saturday events and had whiskey on him when found.
