Dr McGlinton presented on the pathology of tuberculosis detailing how the germ lodges and forms a cheesy substance. Dr Brainerd followed discussing forms in the bowels bones and skin, all tracing to the germ. A future illustrated talk by Prof. Warthin is announced as highly worthwhile.

A Record reporter watched Barreererries barrier the fire alarm gong as four grade rooms released two boys each to the entrances. Columns of children, led by teachers, filed out in perfect order. Within one minute thirty five seconds the big schoolhouse stood empty though it was a false alarm. Supt Bixworth praised the drill as a vital life protection and discipline lesson for public school children.
