The Alma school board let the contract Monday for a new ward school in East Alma, total bid about 41 755 for building heating and wiring, ahead of estimates. N A Starr of Royal Oak, builder of five Alma schools, won the bid for the structure at 37 490, with heating plumbing to Edward Giggons of Lansing at 870 and wiring to Michigan Briss and Electrical Co of Lansing at 76. Site clearing by Neil McCallum completed. construction to begin promptly as officials aim for a sturdy, cost efficient facility.
