Thomas Raycroft born in Cork Ireland May 15 1344 died at his Pine River Michigan home May 7 after a life of work and family devotion. He leaves wife Mary Kuhlman eleven children eight sons three daughters eleven grandchildren and many relatives. Interment Riverside cemetery followed a May 16 service at his residence led by Rev W Kipper.

Ann Arbor Railroad Adds Gasoline Motors in Michigan
The first gasoline powered passenger car arrived Friday for the Ann Arbor railroad, with plans to run to Toledo as northern terminal. Fatalities from Lighted Gasoline Stove Incidents
Miss Zeigenfuss of Alma died Wednesday evening and Miss Graves died Saturday after the stove accident. Born in Greenville 1860, Miss Zeigenfuss moved to Alma three years ago with her parents, spending much of her time at home due to ill health. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Baptist church with Rev Cook officiating and six young ladies as pallbearers. Miss Graves' parents arrived in Alma last Friday and accompanied her remains to Sandusky, where funeral services were held yesterday.
