May Morning Breakfast at High School Honors Juniors
The annual May morning breakfast for juniors was held Tuesday May 2 at the high school. Over ninety attended including faculty. Miss Shellhaas led the event with the planning and service praised. Toasts followed with relations to the juniors faculty and personal memories.
Excellent Recital at College Chapel Delights Audience
A Wednesday night recital at the college chapel featured four soloists with piano accompaniment. Miss Helen Clark Moore soprano Mrs Meligne Seghiet Knapp contralto George Edwin Knapp tenor and Prof Reese Farrington Veatch baritone delivered a harmonious quartet. The pianist Worthy’s accompaniment earned special notice for its artistry.

Mrs E B Soule Expires After Sudden Illness at Home
Mrs E B Soule died suddenly at her home 624 Snead street last Thursday while in her flower garden with her husband, a builder of twenty years. Funeral Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the family home, service by J W Priest of the Baptist church. Interment Alma cemetery. Survived by husband E B Soule and children Frederick J Soule of Baltimore Dennis J Covert of Billings, Geo Beebe and Mrs Winifred Tenny of Detroit Floyd Boule of Flint. Mr Soule plans to continue building through the summer.
