The Event of the Season in Alma was a College Hall concert by Wrights Opera House Band last Friday. The full program impressed from start to finish with a near flawless performance of Poet and Peasy Overture, the Ovarina Quartette delighting, and a humorous Local Option Quartette about bottles. A good attendance supported hopes for new instruments while a Riverdale concert and social dance await Friday.
