L A Sharp welcomed attendees and praised the season before Green, arriving from Adrian, spoke to YMCA members Sunday. He left Alma at 10 05 Tuesday morning for Bay City.

Pine River Telephone Association To Hold Annual Meeting
The Pine River Telephone Association plans its annual meeting in Forest Hill township hall on March 25, 1907 to vote on a matter under state telephone laws. From a small local line, seven lines now converge at Forest Hill with sixty miles of wire, 130 subscribers, and 108 phones. The cooperative links with Union Telephone Co to obtain service with Shepherd, Alma, St. Louis, Ithaca, and Riverdale. This Gratiot County enterprise is rapidly advancing.

The bride wore white moussline desoie and two veils while bridesmaids in white organdie and pink gowns attended. Attendants included Iva Lena Claw and an escort party led by Loretta Clum. Archie Peters a Alma Manufacturing employee, took his own life last Thursday afternoon at the Mills home. He had resided in Alma since 1906, appeared despondent after illness, and a revolver was found near his body in the barn. Coroner's jury ruled suicide. funeral held at Thomas Clark’s residence with burial in St. Louis.
