A newly organized band under J. Rows held its Best Practice rehearsal in the hall above Ainslee's pool room last Tuesday. About twenty five members attended and there were enough instruments to form a full band. The group is not replacing the former band.

A recently formed group aims to train and enjoy music rather than public performances soon. About twenty men attended the first meeting in Davis barber shop, electing Ray Smith business manager Ralph Miller secretary and treasurer and D Ross leader and instructor. A permanent band room above Ainslee’s pool room is being prepared with lights and fresh paint. Robbed Millinery Store Suspect Sought After Break In
A week ago Sunday a sneak thief entered the millinery and clothing shop run by Mrs Humphrey and Mrs Miller, stealing five or six dollars from the till. The back window was forced and the exit made through the back door. The crime was known last week but no suspect identified. A Democratic city mass convention is set for Friday March 95 at 8 o'clock p.m. to nominate city and ward tickets for the April 4 election.
