In Breckenridge Chisholm Bros have taken charge of the store from L W Waggoner Co with Hugh Chisholm leading the business and promising to boost trade and please customers. Local high school plans a special Friday ball at the K O T M with candy and peanuts to raise funds for a school organ. The wife of Palmer Garretaon died at Merrill last Friday and was brought here for interment. An operal at the G A R hall drew a good crowd and funds. A social at the aggregational church honored Mr and Mrs Tubbs, hosted by W C U and Congregationalists, sixty two attendees. Mr Roe, south-west of town, died last Saturday night with funeral at Congregational church Thursday.
