Republics Big Convention Over Republics Meeting in Alma

The Republic Motor Truck convention at Alma gathered more than 200 donors and attendees from across the nation including Australia and New Zealand reps. Sales Manager Holmes led the event with President Frank W. Ruggles and others guiding factory tours, a 45 piece Republic Motor Truck band, and multiple performances. Dozens of dealers attended from states across the union with hundreds of orders placed, signaling strong future expansion and ongoing track and park campaigns through the coming year.

Mad Dog Attacks Two Men and Cattle Report

Report from west of the city describes two men E. O. Donovan and Roy Rayevall bitten by a mad dog. They and five cows a mule and a goat were bitten. Both men were sent to Ann Arbor for Pasteur treatment. A cow died after illness and the dog showed signs a month earlier. Authorities notified and care arranged.
