Popular Alma Couple Are Married Wednesday
A simple charming wedding took place Wednesday at Orchard House the home of Mr and Mrs Francis King. Elizabeth King married Robert Howard Cook son of Prof and Mrs Albert P Cook of this city. The Rev Dr Jay Clizke officiated with few family and friends present. The ceremony featured roses lilies and cedar decor resembling an altar. The bride wore white taffeta with orange blossoms and a tulle veil. The groom was attended by Lester von Thurn of Philadelphia. A reception followed on the veranda with refreshments and lantern lighting. The couple will live at 19 Pear Street Glens Falls New York after September 1st. Out of town guests included several Bentleys Yeomans Melchers Ring and others. Music was by Grace Burrows Warren and Lou Olp.
