Auto tragedy near Alma claims Mrs Daily life
Mrs Jack Daily died and Mr Daily was seriously hurt when their Buick left the bridge abutment four miles east of Alma. The 70 year old man survived with a dislocated shoulder and shock after the car pitched into a ditch while attempting a sharp corner. The Dailys, longtime Emerson township residents, had just acquired the car.

Accident at Ithaca injures three by fire team
A Mima fire team exhibition in Ithaca on July 4 ran into a crowd near the Seaver House. Three members of Mr Park’s family, living south of the county seat village, were hurt but reported out of danger with no permanent injuries. An estimated five thousand people from Ithaca and surrounding areas attended the Fourth of July celebration in Ithaca last Thursday.
