Names such as Thomas Grover, Lyman C. Cattoot, Carrie M. Sowersby, J. Lee, Netile E. Volts, Henry J. Vermeuin, and James Rowmley appear with various lot and section descriptions, WD deeds, and reservations. The garbled text references numerous parcels, owners, and parcels in sections and townships, indicating a batch of concurrent conveyances and mortgages.
The preparations committee asks all civic societies and orders in town to join the grand parade without invitations. Alma should shine with communal pride as every group participates for the best event yet. The Minnesota Insurance Report criticizes the Equitable Insurance Company of Minnesota for dishonest, irregular handling of endowment certificates and bonds, exposing fraud to misappropriate funds and fund officers.
