Forty Five 10 Be Promoted and New Republic School
The midyear promotion of the eighth grade, 45 students, will be honored Friday at 2:00 PM in the Washington school junior high room. Rev W L Gelston will deliver the address, with music by seventh and eighth graders. A new Republic School at Republic and East ward streets nears completion and will open in two weeks for first seven grades, possibly eight, easing congestion at other buildings.

Boy s Conference to Be Held in Ithaca This Weekend

Thornburgh Case Begins Trial in Ithaca Justice Court

Night store holdup ends in gunfire hit on officer
Alma police officer Albert Shankel barely escaped with his life after two robbers forced the rear door of the WA Gerhardt goods store on East Superior Street.
