Local talent Harold Jarvis shines in Alma entertainments

Detroit singer Harold Jarvis performed in the Alma program Friday night delivering strong readings and vocal numbers. Audiences praised his first number Lend Me Your Aid and the popular Afton Water, while Miss Wagner's violin and Miss Whiting's piano accompaniment drew solid applause. The event also featured readings by Miss Eleanore M. Hill and raised about £11 for the Presbyterian Ladies Aid, reflecting credit on organizers led by Mrs A. I Vermeul.
