County Enrollment Plan for Working Reserve

Jotham Allen of this city has been appointed to enroll county boys in the Working Reserve. He will be at city hall at 7 30 Saturday evening and the next two Saturday nights to meet all willing boys to enroll and inform others about the reserve and the push to boost food production for the nation.

About seventy five Gratiot county men will depart for a Georgia training camp in early March as part of a broader draft selection process. Two hundred seventy men were sifted, with 118 examined Monday andTuesday. many were kept in service or discharged under new advisory rules.
