The Sixth Annual Michigan Club Banquet in Detroit will host a large slate of distinguished speakers new to Michigan. Attending are ex-First Assistant Postmaster General Clarkson, Frederic T. Greenhulge of Massachusetts, Hon.dom S. Rundells, Hon. John K. Lynch, and invitations extended to Senators Ingalls Spooner Goff and others. Alfred Russell of Detroit will be the 'liststumaster' with John Patton delivering the welcome. Banquet held at Detroit Rink on Monday evening February 2. tickets $2, club membership $5. Republican attendees welcomed. The issue also lists real estate transfers from Feb 10–17 and various property transactions.

In a letter from St Brewis dated 1891, Rosanenna describes visiting Alma Mercantile Co in Wrights Opera House Block. She praises large, well stocked stores offering shoes, linen, dresses, cloaks, and men’s suits at lower prices, with attentive sales staff and spring stock inducements. She notes favored corset and handkerchief gifts and plans a wedding trip next month.
