Alma laments the death of Frederick George Scott a prominent business man and Mason who passed away Saturday at 6 am after Brights disease. Born July 29 1861 in Port Huron he worked for Ward’s Lake Superior line in 1887 then moved to Alma in 1899 joining Alma Roller Mills rising to general superintendent. He never married and is survived by his mother Mrs Anna Scott and two brothers Otis Seate and W H Scott.
