Edward Menehan, aged fifty nine, died after ingesting a lethal mixture of lye and other substances during a drinking bout at his farm home. Died at the hospital in Breckenridge Michigan

John D. Bine a well known railroader with Pere Marquette died Tuesday night in Bay City after four weeks of typhoid fever. He was nearly 24, leaves a wife and child, parents, and brothers in Breckenridge and Alma. Remains sent to Breckenridge for interment. Brother Charles in Alma and Basil at Breckenridge. Wife had been a hospital patient and had not fully recovered.

Body Identified by Father in Grand Rapids Death

The father identified the remains as Almer Peters formerly of Summer and a Lafayette Peters brother, in Ericson's restaurant case. He said the 25 year old had worked in lumber woods, tried the venture in Omaha, returned despondent, and killed himself after sending wages home. Local inquiry found no murder, ruling the death as self inflicted.
