Industrial School session held in Alma building

The Industrial School organized under the Hospices of the WCTU held its first session Saturday afternoon in the Adams building. About thirty-five girls attended as classes were formed with Mrs. Kendall Brooks as superintendent and teachers including Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. Strickland. The group learned to make work bags and sang a work-song, with plans for future weekly meetings and broader local support.
