Alma College campaign passes $200,000. seeks $140,000 more

Alma College reports over $200,000 raised in the drive led by General Chairman Phelps Newberry as districts in Saginaw Bay City Flint and Grand Rapids push toward a $50,000 conditional gift. Additional pledges bring total to $192,000 with city of Alma contributing $60,000 and Presbyterians in Grand Rapids Bay City Flint and Detroit organizing to reach the June target.

The Alma high school senior class presents Ernest Deny’s three act comedy All of a Sudden Peggy under Miss True Dewin Friday night April 29 at 8 in the school auditorium. Alma High School Defeats Indians in Tuesday Baseball Game

Alma High School overwhelmed the Indians 12 to 3 at Republic Field on Tuesday.
