Graduating exercisers at the Alma training school for nurses were honored at a Wednesday banquet on April 1. Mr Warren of Detroit delivered an eight course dinner toast. Dr Browning led vocal selections and a short encore by Mr Warren followed by a reception in the gym. A large Friday parlor gathering capped the week’s events, with continued coverage on the eighth page.

Partners TE Pringle, known as Tom, and FJ Emmer, two Alma men, are securing stock in Chicago. Pringle, from Hiawatha Kansas, started as a merchant tailor north of the Wright House, later moving to the Pollnak y block.
