Missionary meeting at Alma hosts delegations from several towns
The annual meeting of the Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary Societies of the Saginaw Presbytery was held in Alma with about fifty delegates from Saginaw Bay City West Bay City Mt. Pleasant Ithaca and St. Louis. Officers were elected for the year and reports highlighted Home and Foreign Mission work with funds totaling 685.49 and Alma contributions 10.15 for home missions and 876.25 for foreign work. A new secretary for young people’s work was created and the next meeting will be in Bay City. Also an advertisement invites farmers to call at a farm near Alma for a Blooded Ohio Poland China boar and a Short Horn Durham bull.
