Two San Antonio Women Die In Bridge Collapse Crash

Gail Shanahan and Maggie Green, both horse trainers from the San Antonio area, died when their truck and four horses fell from a collapsed bridge on Interstate 40 in Webbers Falls Oklahoma. The collapse occurred after a barge rammed a bridge support, sending about a dozen vehicles into the river and leaving at least 13 dead. Green died on her 47th birthday, and fellow rodeo professionals recalled Shanahan as a hardworking mentor who built a lifetime in barrel racing.
