June Gardening Chores From Dr Johnson Texas Gulf Coast

June gardening tasks cover mulching to conserve soil moisture for dry Gulf Coast areas. Apply 4 to 6 inches of mulch around trees, keep mulch away from trunks, and water regularly. Transplant landscape trees carefully and avoid fertilizer in the planting hole to prevent root injury. Gardenias finish flowering in late May to early June as next year's buds form.
