One Dead Eight Injured In Bus Auto Crash

In Yokohama a Japanese court sentenced two U S Army privates to seven and four years at hard labor for assaulting and robbing a taxi driver. Pvt Paul A Lesperance of Woonsocket Rhode Island got seven years while Pvt Richard W Haviland of Stamford Connecticut received four. An Army spokesman said Haviland struck the driver with a piece of cord wood on February 6 and Lesperance stole about $13.
