Mineweld Fire Burns Employee at Indiana Plant

A Mineweld Company of Indiana fire at 1339 N 13th St caused about 10000 dollars in damage. One employee, Steve Auten, suffered second and third degree burns over 45 percent of his body and was hospitalized in fair condition.

Renewed Heavy Fighting Tests Saigon Command in Central Highlands

In the Central Highlands South Vietnamese and North Vietnamese forces clash around Dak To and Ben Het. Reports state 60 North Vietnamese and 31 government troops killed in four fights amid artillery sieges and shelling from across Cambodia and Laos. More than 400 South Vietnamese troops have died and about 2,000 wounded since May 1 as observers call the battle around Dak To a potential turning point.

Prisoners seize block at Minnesota reformatory

Prisoners briefly took over a cell block at the Minnesota State Reformatory in St. Cloud Friday night. They set fire to office furnishings and rifled a narcotics cabinet before smoke forced about 150 insurgents to surrender, according to Superintendent W. F. McRae.

FAA Seminar On General Aviation Safety Set For Terre Haute

The FAA will hold a general aviation accident prevention seminar June 23-24 in Terre Haute in observance of General Aviation Month Indiana.
